About Santiago

Santiago joined Concourse, a startup building AI agents for corporate finance teams, as a Founding AI/ML Engineer. Originally from Padrón, Galicia, he studied Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and earned a Master’s in Big Data Technologies and Data Science from ICAI. Before joining Concourse, Santiago was a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Clarity AI, where he built AI-powered financial analysis tools and data extraction systems, driving millions in cost savings. He has also worked at Banco Sabadell, KPMG, and as a Top Rated AI Engineer on Upwork, delivering generative AI and ML solutions for early-stage startups. As with our other Galician Fellows, his move was supported by Fundación Barrié. Santiago is now co-founding Traza alongside fellow Fellow Sergio Ayala.
