Exponential is the result of the encouragement of many, the support of a few, and the effort of a team. I want to use the attention this report brings to highlight the people who made it possible.
First, the Association’s core team, especially Dume, who has invested many nights and weekends to carry out our vision, and Oscar, who has led the way in content creation.
Our partners. Carmen Arias, Director of the Barrié Foundation and brave promoter of Exponential since its foundation, for betting on this project when it was nothing more than a simple text. Gemma, from the Spain–US Chamber of Commerce, and the representatives of the participating funds: Iván from JME; Juan and Aquilino from Kibo Ventures; Jaime, Carina, Miguel and Saleiva from Kfund; Íñigo, José and Lucía from Samaipata.
Our hosts and founders: Toni and Bernard (and Ome) from Stack, the first to take the leap. Diego and Víctor from Krea, who did not hesitate for a moment. Javi and Pablo from Happyrobot. Nhat from Pumpkinseed. Matt from Caspian. Mathieu from Concourse.
Those who have given the program a public voice, especially Iván Landabaso, Jaime Novoa and David Bonilla. Those who have moved it in the shadows: Adrián, Anna, Mar, Pepe, Christian, and the more than 80 friends and colleagues who picked up the phone to lend their attention, network and ideas.
The community, now more than 100 strong: young builders who share what they learn and lift one another up.
And of course our first Fellow: Javi. Thank you for your courage, your example, and for setting the bar impossibly high from day one.
Finally, thanks to those who inspired the germ of the program: Miguel Carranza, Iñaki Berenguer, Rebeca Minguela, and many others who have begun to draw the exponential curve that will be Spanish software.
