About Alejandro
Alejandro is an engineer from Melide who studied Computer Science at Universidade da Coruña, graduating with the Extraordinary Bachelor's Degree Award, the top distinction in his cohort. Along the way he did research at CITIC and presented award-winning work at ACM SPLC. Exponential met him through Fundación Barrié in 2024, just after graduation. He joined Invofox (YC S22) as a Software Engineer, won the InditexTech track at HackUPC, and came to every Exponential event, which is where he met Adeyemi Ajao, Managing Partner at Base10 Partners and founder of Tuenti. In July he moved to San Francisco to lead AI at Base10, the fund behind Spanish founders like Prosper and HappyRobot. On the side, he built Tendedero, an open-source macOS app for organizing screenshots that recently went viral.
